Traditional FE engines use a 3/8-inch cup at the rocker end, which is different than other engines. Be sure to specify that when ordering. Every engine combination is a little different, but common pushrod lengths run between 8.900 and 9.100 inches on roller cams, and between 9.100 and 9.350 inches on flat tappets.

Ford 352 V8 Engine The Ford 352 V8 was first introduced in 1958 and would stay in the Ford lineup up through 1966. The 352 also was part a long-running series (1958-1976) of Ford engines known as the "FE" which means Ford-Edsel.

The FE made its 1958 debut at 332 ci, with a 352-ci version following later in the model year. Both engines had a 4.00-inch bore; the 332 ci had a 3.30-inch stroke, while the 352-ci stroke was 3.50 inches. The two virtually identical engines were available options in Ford passenger cars until 1959.

A stock 6G is good for about 13.4-13.6 volts at the OBD plug. Something around 13.6-13.8 at the batteries. The DC Power or a poor-man's 3G swap is good for 14.2+ volts at the batteries and around 13.8 at the OBD port. It's a dumb concept, but the alternator isn't commanded to begin charging sometimes after starting.
